He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon L. Walters and Olive D. Walters (Miley). He is survived by: his wife Diane K. Walters (Lakey); his sons, Richard J. Walters (Polly), Donald G. Walters (Sally) and Randal C. Walters (Beth); his grandchildren, Ricky Walters (Jillian), Rachel Layne-Schaffer (Matt), Adam Walters (Adrian), Madison Koehl (Kolin), Wesley Ruedebusch (Bree), Tasha McGraner (Chris), Tonya McGraner (Ben), Jami Slager (Jake), Kobi Bell, Craig Walters (Ashley) and Cody Walters (Kiersten); his great grandchildren, Eva, Alaynna, Juliette Walters, Isaac Schaffer, Connor Layne, Piper, Jack Walters, Ivy Koehl, Breck, Brinxlee, Brezlyn Slager, Aria McGraner, Rosella, Sylvia McGraner, Eleanor, Evelyn, Oliver Walters and Harper Walters; his sister Susan K. Miller (B. J.); and his sister-in-law Kathy L. Stinecker (William). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
