He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Roeder and Margaret Roeder (Weeks); his wife Ruth Roeder (Ramsdail); his daughter Carol Sue Fisher (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Claude Ramsdail, Frank Ramsdail (Nancy), Robert "Bob" Ramsdail (Peggy), Wendell "Zeke" Ramsdail and Anne Marie Johantgen (Bud).
He is survived by: his children, Debra "Deb" Fisher (Mark) of Lima, OH, Kimberly "Kim" E. Keferl (David) of Lima, OH, Patricia "Pat" Shafer (Ron) of Lima, OH, Richard "Rick" Roeder, Jr. of Lima, OH and Amy Bush (Todd) of Lima, OH; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Roeder (Ellen) of Colorado Springs, CO and Margaret "Peg" (Bill); and his sister-in-law Minnie Taylor. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
