He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Phillips and Betty "Maxine" Phillips (Shupp); his siblings, Eddie Phillips, Bobby Truesdale and Marilyn Rex (Butch); his mother-in-law Arline Slane; his sister-in-law Janet K. Caldwell (Slane); and his cousin Danny Stratton.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Ann Phillips (Slane) of Lima; his sister-in-law Linda Phillips of Lima; his nephew Mike Rex of Lima; his nieces, Angie Rex (Eddie Hahn) of Lima, Joyce Chididester (Bob) of Marion and Jill Phillips of Lima; and his cousins, Mike Bruno (Arlene) of Lima, Judy Bruno of Lima, Connie Lott (Rick) of Lima, Barb Stratton of Lima and Perry Truesdale (Carolyn Sanders) of Lima. He is also survived by other family members, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd, Lima, OH 45805).
