She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Douglas and Phyllis Godsey (Black); her husband Larry West; and her daughter Deborah Kay Clark. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Gregory Godsey, Dionne Lasenby (Keithie), Michael West and Shanda Lyles; her grandchildren, Shemille Godsey, Thomas Godsey Jr., Michael West, Jordan West, Maxwell Combs and Jayden West; and her siblings, Carol Owens and Robert Godsey. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
