Pete House Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 102, Pete House (Lima, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Pete find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alec House and Queen Elizabeth House; and his son Larry House. He is survived by: his children, Pete House, Jr. (Loreatha) of Baltimore, MD, Sylvester House of California, Luietenant House of California, Matthew House (Diane) of California, Bobby House (Raejean) of Mississippi, Tim House of Lima, Catherine Johnson (Otis) of Mississippi, Betty Henry of Lima and Shirley House of Lima. He is also survived by 65 grandchildren, 110 great-grandchildren and 49 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church (122 W 4th St, Lima, OH 45804). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
