She was predeceased by: her siblings, Rubin Sims, Jr. and Helen Sims. She is survived by: her daughter Gwendolen R. Lane-Harvey of Lima; her goddaughter Deborah Thompson of Lima; her grandchildren, Kylen M. Lane-Harvey of Lima, Jakoby M. Lane-Harvey of Lima and Kudzai Kurapa of Lima; her great grandchild Kamren Kurapa; her sisters, Alberta M. Fisher and Mary L. Dixon (Oscar); her siblings-in-law, Neotha Paden, Fannie M. Sims of Lima and Emmett Lane of Lima; her uncle Cullen Dillard of Lima; and her nephews, Gregory L. Sims and Snowden Gene Sims. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
