He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lou Adkins (Wells); his siblings-in-law, Louis, Mary Ida Schroeder and Cletus Schroeder; his nephew Michael Cox; and his niece Renea Patton.
He is survived by: his father Paul Edgar; his wife Donna Schroeder; his children, Laura Elkins (Aaron) of Columbus Grove, Justin Adkins (Shelby) of Columbus Grove and Mary Jo Adkins of Lima; his grandchildren, Brock, Kaylynn, Jordan, Miklo, Jaxson and Javier; his brother Terry Adkins (Lydia) of Ottawa; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Cox, Donald Schroeder (Gloria), Ronald Schroeder (Deb), Barb Schroeder, Robert Schroeder (Doris), Mark Schroeder (Maryann) and Louann Patton.
