The memory of Ora Ethel Nelson (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on September 24, 2024 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Henry and Ora Minnie Stockton (Samples); and her siblings, McClellan, Orville, James Stockton, Lucille Williams, Mary Stockton, Sarah Stovall and Ina Beatrice Banks.
She is survived by: her son Kerry Nelson (Patience); and her grandsons, Joshua and Noah Nelson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church (122 W 4th St, Lima, OH 45804). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1751 Spencerville Rd, Lima, OH 45805).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hy Ho Club, P.O. Box 793, Lima, Ohio 45802 or Fourth Street Baptist Church Scholarship Fund.
