She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Henry and Ora Minnie Stockton (Samples); and her siblings, McClellan, Orville, James Stockton, Lucille Williams, Mary Stockton, Sarah Stovall and Ina Beatrice Banks.
She is survived by: her son Kerry Nelson (Patience); and her grandsons, Joshua and Noah Nelson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
