It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma J. Sloce in Lima, Ohio, born in Norton, Virginia, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Sturgill and Lona Sturgill (Caudill); her spouse Sidney Sloce; and her siblings, Ruth Sturgill, Donald Sturgill, Kenneth Sturgill and Hubert Sturgill.
She is survived by: her children, David Sloce of Beaverdam and Debra Sloce (Frank Gillette) of Beaverdam; her grandsons, Joshua and Johnathan McPheron; and her sister Phyllis Owens of Norton, Virginia.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
