He is survived by: his father Frank Hentze; his children, Edith Conn (Brian) and Merle Hentze, Jr.; his son-in-law Kurt Plapp; his grandchildren, Erica Bojicic (Ben), Zach Conn (Heather), Dacota Hentze (Danielle), Bradon Conn, Cassidy Conn, Brooke Hentze (Clay Meister), Breaun Hentze, Blake Hentze, Deryk Plapp and Kameron Plapp; his great grandchildren, Morgan Conn, Karlee Conn, Grayson Bocook, Shiloh Short, Branka Bojicic, Cheyenne Snider, Kaden Kraft, Carter Kraft and Raelynn Meister; his sister Linda Jackson; and his pet Lily.
