She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. McCloskey and Marion A. McCloskey (McDavitt); her husband Norbert "Bernie" E. Berneburg; her son Douglas N. Berneburg; and her siblings, Delores Creighan, Patricia Giganti, Joanne Morgan, Eileen Quinn and Joseph McCloskey.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Maloney (Robert) of Lima, Ohio; her granddaughters, Heather O'Connor of Naperville and Stephanie Davis (Gary) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Garrett Davis, Lauren Davis, Addison Davis, Grayson Davis, Alexus Laird and Ryan O'Connor; her great great grandchild Charlotte; and her sister Margaret Reiter of Pittsburgh.
