He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oliver and Clara Mae Long (Oliver); his brothers, Harvey Long, Gerald Long and Albert Long; and his brother-in-law Clyde Neinas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katina Marie Coleman and Barbara Ann Gehl; his siblings, Lawrence Long (Beverly), Doris Boedicker (Mike), Juanita Myers and Martha Neinas; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth "Libby" Long. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
