She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Fanshier and Ruth Alma (Mauk); her husband Fredrick "Lloyd" Hilyard; her children, Douglas "Doug" Lloyd, Martha and Kathy Alberston; and her siblings, Imogene Meyers (Bud), Grover Fanshier (Alice), Pete Fanshier (Deb), Estelle Edens (Tom) and Mary Fanshier.
She is survived by: her children, Rhody Peterson (Amos) of Laporte, IN, James "Jay" Hilyard (Brenda) of Lima, OH, Wava Cotterman of Lima, OH, John Hilyard of Lima, OH and Edward "Ed" Hilyard of Lima, OH; and her sister Ann Williams (Ray). She is also survived by twenty four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
