She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Johnson Lambert and L. B. Lambert, Sr.; her husband Thomas A. Armstrong; her children, Gloria Hooks and Michael Armstrong (Baby Armstrong); her great grandchild Darius Boone; and her siblings, Mariah Lambert Jones, Dorothy Ricks Walker, John Lambert, David Lambert, L. B. Lambert Jr., Robert Lambert, James Lambert, Paul Lambert and Charles Lambert.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louis Lambert (Velma) and Jeanette Jackson (Charles); her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Lambert, Tiny Covington and Louise Oliphant; her nieces and nephews, Therena Hooks, Gary Armstrong (Angela), Brenda Merriweather and Debrah Armstrong; and her adoptive children, Tamiika Armstrong Patterson and Martha Armstrong. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren; her 65 great grandchildren; her 11 great-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
