It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Sue Knicely of Lima, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marilyn Sue may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ralph and Jennie Mae Combs Finley; her husband Archie F. Knicely; her son William R. Knicely; and her brother Robert Finley.
She is survived by: her children, James Alan Knicely (Barbara), Steven Craig Knicely (Carol) and Sandra Sue Ward (James) of Lima; her nephews, Eric Finley, Jeff Finley and Michael Finley; and her pet Vivian. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
