She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Christian and Rhoda Katherine Burkholder (Amstutz); her spouse Estill "Eddie" Howard; her brothers, Evan Ray Burkholder and Sylvan James Burkholder; her stepson Ronald D. Howard; and her son-in-law John Maier.
She is survived by: her siblings, Allen Clyde Burkholder of Bluffton and Barbara Ann Wehrly of Tuscon, AZ; her nieces, Sondra Braun of Bluffton, Kathy Lehman (Larry) of Pandora and Lisa Kerner; her nephew David Wehrly (Irene); and her stepdaughter Betty L. Maier.
