He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Olds and K. Jeannette Olds (Bowsher); and his in-laws, Ralph and Mary Driver. He is survived by: his wife D. Jane Olds (Driver) of Lima; his son Aaron L. Olds of Lima; his siblings, Loren Olds of Lima, Clyde Olds (Cathy) of Lima and Gwyneth Reasner (Fred) of Lima; his siblings-in-law, Deb Augsburger (Jim) of Bluffton, Wayne Driver of Lima and Earl Driver (Sandy) of Van Buren; his nieces and nephews, Chris Olds of Lima, Matthew Haver (Julie) of Dayton, Luke Haver (Gina) of Columbus, Jason Augsburger (Kim) of Harrod, Josh Augsburger of Bowling Green, Carin Olds of Lima and Katie Oches (Sam) of Columbus; and his walking buddies, Texie and Ruger.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801).

Memorial contributions may be made to the fire department of the donor's choice.
