He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Aldrich and Elezabeth Aldrich (Bauman); his stepfather Reed Strauser; his half-brother Mel Ray Aldrich; his sisters, Edith Lammers, Gladys Martin and Carol Tuttle; and his siblings-in-law, Sarah Louth (Robert), Margaret Zerbe (Charles), Eileen Liles (Wilbur), Max Morgan (Mabel) and Robert Knupp.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Aldrich (Morgan) of Lima; his children, James Alan Aldrich (Cheryl) of Naples, FL and Kimberly Sue Aldrich (David Ferguson) of Lima; his granddaughter Dawn R. Baker-Jackson (Nicholas) of Kansas City, MO; and his sister Shirley Adams (Gary) of Elida.
