She was predeceased by: her parents, Gay Decker and Luella Decker (Edminston); her spouse Ramey Whitaker; her sister Sandra Ritchie (Jim); her granddaughter Ashley Sanchez; and her great grandchild Kaden Colwell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Whitaker (Jeannie) of Lima, Timothy Whitaker (Kelly) of Lima, Terry Whitaker (Kathy) of Bluffton, Katherine "Kathy" Sutherland (Randy) of Celina and Melissa Bair (Gary) of Columbus; and her brother Rodney Decker (Mary) of Lima. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family to assist with final expenses.
