She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Geckle and Engelena Geckle (Schamber); her husband Dwight Gene Hauenstein of Bluffton; her great grandchild Kingston Kraus of Lambertville, MI; and her siblings, Ray, Bill, Burt, Laverne Geckle, Helen, Ella, Freda and Lavon.

She is survived by: her children, Eugene Hauenstein (Lori) of Harrod, Dennis Hauenstein (Yvette) of Waynesfield and Brenda Buchanan (Mark) of Waynesfield; and her brothers, Robert W. Geckle of Lakeview and Glen Geckle of Melbourne, Florida.. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren.
