With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lovie Lynell Cook (Lima, Ohio), born in Altus, Arkansas, who passed away on October 5, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lovie Lynell may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Strickland and Helen Strickland. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Cook (Jill Gorman) and Eric Cook (Karen Hower); her grandson Taylor Cook (Columbus); and her siblings, Linda Darlington (Gerbert), Gene Strickland (Ellie) of California and Gale Strickland (Nancy) of California.
