He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Oberdier and Blanche Oberdier (Driver). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Oberdier (Workman) of Perrysburg; his children, Kristin Hauser (Joshua) of Cookeville, TN and Andrew Oberdier (Heather Tessler) of Toledo; his grandson Samuel Hauser of Cookeville, TN; and his sister Carole Shaffer of Lima. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forest Park United Methodist Church, Lima, OH.
