He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Harold and Phyllis May Gladfelter (Edgington); his wife Sharon Kay Spees; and his sons, Robert Lee Gladfelter and Brian Edward Gladfelter.
He is survived by: his stepson Dr. Curtis D. Holmes (Colo) of Denver; his granddaughter Amanda Sue Barnes; his great grandchildren, Blaine M. Wyman and Conner E. Baker of Columbus; his brother-in-law Gary G. Spees; his niece Michelle Osterhout (Wes); his nephew Wes Osterhout; his great-nephew Nicholas Osterhout; and his niece Tammy Hickerson (Justin).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home (506 N Cable Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A masonic service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the F&am Sager Lodge. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3000 Harding Hwy, Lima, OH 45804).
