He is survived by: his wife Vicki Flippin (Nigh); his daughters, Melissa Komarek (Bruce) of Celina, Jennifer Lang (Doug) of Elida and Erin Hutson (Zach) of Elida; his grandchildren, Claire Komarek, Keegan Lippert-Hutson, Piper Lang, Ava Lang, Mia Hutson and Porter Hutson; his brother Lonnie Flippin (Dorothy) of Lima; his sister-in-law Kathy Flippin of Wapakoneta; his mother-in-law Pat Nigh of Lima; and his brother-in-law Greg Nigh (Linda) of Wapakoneta. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
