With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth R. Pittman of Lima, Ohio, born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse William and Alberta Pittman (Raper); his wife Ruth Smith; his son Michael Pittman; his brother Bill Pittman (Emma Lee); and his brother-in-law Tony Best.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Jr. Pittman (Denise) of Santee, CA, Bill Pittman (Chris) of Indialantic, FL, Wendy Strickland (Donald) of Goldsboro, NC, Cindy Ferguson (Ken) of New Bern, NC, Martha Verhoff (Steven) of Richlands, NC, Nicholas Pittman (Lynda) of Miller City and Jesse Pittman (Jessica) of Johnstown; and his sister Marjorie Best of Goldsboro, NC.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
