He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Dye and Phyllis Dye (Badertscher); his sister Ramona Everett; and his sister-in-law Delores Dye. He is survived by: his brothers, Timothy Dye and James Dye; his stepchildren, Douglas Stumbaugh and Sarah Stumbaugh-Hanes; and his great-nephew Gaberiel Blue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
