He was predeceased by: his brothers, Edward Elwood and Thomas Elwood. He is survived by: his wife Caroline "Carol" Elwood of Lima; his children, Keri Carpenter (William) of Lima, Scott Goonan of Lima, Douglas Adams of Lima, Dale Adams of Lima, Dennis Phalen (Annette) of Lima, Vickie S. McClurg (Charles) of Lima and Melinda Blachowski (Scott) of Columbus; and his sister Debbie Gross (Jim) of Lima. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
