She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Harruff and Grace Harruff (Counts); her son Stephen "Steve" Sterling; and her siblings, Kenneth Harruff, Glenn Harruff, Willis Harruff, Evelyn Thatcher, Ruth Isham and Edna Edens.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Sterling of Lima, OH, Rebecca "Becky" Workman of Lima, OH, Michael "Mike" Sterling of Lima, OH, Paula Gay of Lima, OH, Janet Gay of Lima, OH and Gerald Gay, Jr. of Lima, OH; and her brothers, Emerson Harruff of Lincoln, IL and Gaylord Harruff of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
