He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Jenny Allen, Frank, Ann Hertel, Ray and Jo Chafin; and his uncle Garrett Chafin.
He is survived by: his parents, Amy Chafin and Alan Chafin; his sisters, Jenny Chafin and Heather Darby (Billy); his nieces and nephews, Holden, Andrew, Desiree and Desmin; his uncles, Chris Allen (Ellie) and Mark Allen (Rogelio Guizar); his aunt Marsha Loebakka; and his friends, Joe Rodmaker, Sheldon Gallagher, Andrew Watkins and Chris Lovejoy.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home (920 N Cable Rd, Lima, OH 45805). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
