Judith Ann Spayd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Ann Spayd (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Lilace Gossard (Glancy); her son Mark Neu; her granddaughter Kaylynn VanBuskirk; and her stepgranddaughter Alayna Geiler. She is survived by: her parent Miller Gossard; her husband Phil Spayd; her daughter Wendy VanBuskirk (Rod Williams); her stepdaughters, Kim High (Bob), Cindy Brenneman (Ron) and Tammy Mooney (Curt); her grandchildren, Devin, Shyanna, Tanise, Nikayta and Cadence; her stepgrandchildren, Ben, Ryan, Matthew, Josh, Rebekah and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Brayton and Elliot; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Piper, Isaac, Anna and Adalyn; her sister Diana Hover (late Larry); and her friends, Bob, Gloria Davis, Donna Bowers, Patti Croy and Sandy Dunlap. She is also survived by her husband, her family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Shawnee Chapel. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lima Baptist Temple or to the charity of your choice.
