He was predeceased by: his wife Mary J. Berg; and his sister Victoria Hume. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Dilego (Joseph Brooks), Carrie Wilges, Stacey Banks and Zachary Wilges (Madison); his grandsons, Christopher Dilego, Ty Banks and Noah Wilges; his siblings, Doug Wilges (Christine), Kathy Knoch (Bob), Chuck Wilges (Kim) and Emily Urick; his close friend Kenneth Hollar; and his pet Bob.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 Dixie Hwy, Wapakoneta, OH 45895).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Humane Society.
