He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elwood and Ora Lee Poe Hatcher, Sr.; his siblings, Charles Hatcher, Richard Hatcher, Karen Murphy and Shirley Trabert; and his former wife Beverly J. Porter Hatcher.
He is survived by: his children, David A. Hatcher (Maurica) of Columbus, Joshua S. Hatcher (Amy Lones) of Lima, Amanda R. Haywood (Donald) and Francresa Plaugher (Doug) of Lima; and his brother Steve Hatcher (Kay) of Harrod. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren with one on the way; 3 step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bayliff & Son Funeral Home (311 W Main St, Cridersville, OH 45806). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
