He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mason and Marian Mason (Jones); his sister Phyllis Boyer; and his brother-in-law Gerald Boyer. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Mason (Ferguson) of Lima, OH; his daughters, Dr. Kathy Mason of Findlay, OH and Dr. Pamela Mason (Rohit Malhotra) of Charlottesville, VA; his grandchildren, Devin Malhotra and Shaan Malhotra; and his sister Carolyn Winder (Thomas) of Ashville, NC. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Symphony Orchestra, Art Space Lima, Trinity United Methodist Church (Lima) or Deb's Dogs.
