He was predeceased by: his sons, Donald Wayne Harmon and Dana Eugene Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Opal; his children, Joe L. Harmon, Jr. (Retta) of Indianapolis, IN. and Jacqulyn T. Harris (Robert) of Indianapolis, IN.; his siblings, Gladys M. Wright of Lima and Curtis Harmon (Valerie); his close friends, Ellis Allen and Ed Shine of Lima; his daughter Kimberly Elaine Gomillia; his brothers, Marion Harmon and Wesley Harmon; and his brother-in-law John Wright. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
