It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan Dean Nickells of Lima, Ohio, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jan Dean Nickells to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Nickells and Virgie Nickells (Williams); and his siblings, Barb Swickrath, Tom, Darrell, Charles and Danny Nickells.

He is survived by: his spouse Misti Dawn Bicknell; his children, Austin Nickells (Ashley) of Montpelier, OH, Dylan Nickells of Lima, Madison Nickells of Pioneer, OH and Makenzi Nickells of Lima; his grandchildren, Reese, Kash Nickells, Cason Cook and Blakely Jordan; and his siblings, Walter Nickells (Theresa) of Edon, Sam Nickells (Dawn) of Edon, Diane Pugh (William) of Edgerton, Cindy Kutz (Dennis) of Edgerton and Kelly Jon Nickells of St. Paul, MN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
