He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kell and Sylvia Herndon (Barnhart); his siblings, Shirley Pederson, Joann Bille, Dorothy Royer and John L. Kell; and his half-brother Timothy Kell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kell (Peterman); his children, Sandra Moseley, James B. Kell, Charles Kell (Roy McGee), Randy Kell (Patti), John J. Kell, Barbara Martin (Doug), Jeffery Peterman (Tara) and Kathleen Freytag (Scott); and his half-sisters, Theresa Marshall and Jayne Green. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
