He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Lee Moore; and his siblings, Bobbie Moore, John E. Moore, Jr., Evin Moore and Homer Moore.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, William E. Alred, Jr., James L. Alred and Vanessa L. Weaver; his sisters, Daisy Weeden of St. Louis, MO and Brenda Lester of Lima; and his friend Larry Thomas.
