It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Michels of Lima, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Charles and Elizabeth Margaret Michels (Leminex); his daughters, Judith Marie Michels and Angelica Lynn Morman; and his siblings, Michael E. Michels and Elizabeth A. Gonzales.
He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Michels (McCoy); his daughter Mary Elizabeth Michels (Billy); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Audriana and Jerad.
