He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Hoffer and Millie Taylor Hoffer; his wife Carol Conner; his daughter Kristie Ann Hoffer; and his siblings, Gary Hoffer and Sharon O'Quinn.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hoffer of Lima, James Kyle Hoffer (Amy) of Avon, Indiana and Marianne Hall of Cridersville; his grandchildren, Arielle, Chloe (Stephen), Delaney, Emma, Kaleb, Asher, Calahan, Bentley and Hayden; and his siblings, Craig Hoffer (Stephanie) of Lima, Scott Hoffer (Tina) of Rarden, Ohio, Kimberly Hoffer of Russells Point and Connie Harper (Travis) of Wapakoneta.
