She is survived by: her mother Kimberly; her daughter Ny'Ajah I. Battle-Gilcrease; her brother Michael Upshaw (Monet) of Lima; and her grandmothers, Ella Battle of Lima and Ida L. Garrett of Lima. She is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
