He was predeceased by: his parents, William Daniel and Frieda Shelley (Keeler); and his siblings, Ralph Lee Shelley (Sandy), Eleanor Sneary and Dorothy E. Foster (Fred).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Arnold (William), Dawn R. Renner (Tom) and Beth Ann Goderwis (Alan); his wife Bonnie Shelley (Clark); his stepchildren, John W. Kannard, III and Jamie L. Kannard; and his brother-in-law Richard Sneary. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
