He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Woten; his siblings, Sharon Iiames and Steve Woten; his brother-in-law Yaz Wilson; and his fiancée Dora Spence.
He is survived by: his children, Sonya Woten, Gregory Woten Jr. (Megan), Andrew Woten (Ashley), Austin Woten (Jackie), Tabitha Gossard (Jeremy) and Melissa Bankston (Marquis); his grandchildren, Faith, Destiny, Kaylin, Jade, Caleb, Arianna, Isaiah, Aliah, Piper, Salena, T'Andre, Austin Taylor, Wyatt, Jacob and Dominick; his siblings, Thomas "Butch" Woten Jr. (Joyce), Rhonda Wilson and Timmy Woten (Dee); his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Woten and Warren Iiames; and the mother of his children Theresa Mort. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
