She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Smith and Lois Marie Smith (Meyers); her spouse Gene Koch; her daughter Barbara Tracy; and her brother Richard Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Gene A. Koch of Lima and Brenda Gilbert of Lima; her grandchildren, Wendie Haley, Christa McGuire, Paul Koch, Gene A. Koch, III, Amanda DeVeaux, Ashlynne Caswell, Austin McKitrick Lesher, Nickolas Gilbert, Tiffany Gilbert and Jake Brummer; and her siblings, Leland Smith (Julie) of Lawton, OK and Annabelle Riffle of Ardmore, OK. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
