As Georgianne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Georgianne. Though Georgianne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shorter and Minnie Mae Shorter (Vann); and her sisters, Debra A. Shorter, Geraldine Shorter, Patricia Shorter and Annette Shorter.
She is survived by: her children, William Harmon of Lima, Rochelle Shorter of Lima and Ashley Shorter of Lima; and her sisters, Diane Shorter and Florene Cowan. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. (1302 Oakland Pkwy, Lima, OH 45805). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
