George Nichols Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Nichols of Lima, Ohio, born in Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 15, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hargis Nichols and Polly Ann Nichols (Keaton); and his siblings, Glistine Rhine, Katherine Ann Long, Anna Marie Bailey, Eddie Lee Nichols, Kelly Nichols, R. C. Nichols, Carl Nichols, David "Bucky" Nichols and Casper Nichols.
He is survived by: his spouse Doug Raver; his sons, Garett Guthrie (Michelle) and Austin Graymire; his grandchildren, Makenna and Alyssa Guthrie; his brothers, Elwood "Woody" Nichols (Linda), Wayne Nichols (Greta), Martin Nichols and Randy Nichols; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Rohrbach (Jack Linet), Rick Colwell (Debi), Jani Coomes (Phil), Tim Colwell (Anna Dirks) and Todd Colwell (Shelli). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and several other friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lima Firefighters Memorial Museum.
