He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion West and Ruth West (Kratzke); his daughter Andrea Miller; and his sisters, Marlene Newman, Eileen Kozlowski and Sharon Shroyer.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda 'Lonnie Taviano; his daughters, Melissa Blubaugh (Andrew) of Wadsworth, Melinda Spoerke (Pete) of Wadsworth and Melanie Ritchey (David) of Navarre, FL; his grandchildren, Ben, Nathan, Emma, Evelyn, Jonah, Jack and Gabe; and his brother-in-law DeWayne Newman of Lima. He is also survived by many in-laws and nieces and nephews, several cousins.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Rita's Hospice, St. Luke's Lutheran Church or the Veterans Food Pantry in Lima.
