Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gary John Stopczynski of Lima, Ohio, born in Madison Heights, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 68, on November 6, 2024. As Gary John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gary John. Though Gary John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stopczynski and Wanda Stopczynski (Wysocki); and his brother-in-law James Harris. He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Stopczynski (McGinn); his children, Kristen Winter (Brian) and Gregory Stopczynski; his sister Doreen Harris; and his pet Piper.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (2200 W Elm St, Lima, OH 45805). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church or the Ohio ASPCA.
