She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilario Ortega and Helena Ortega (Hernandez); her husband Joseph E. Golden; her former husband Allen Rundio; her siblings, Joseph Ortega, Marion Ortega, Thelma Chavarria, John Ortega (Karen) and Inez Ruiz; her stepsister Susan Hamende; and her great grandchild Jennah Mackenzie Holbrook.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Barton (Mark), Stephanie Tapia (Tony Hines) and Thomas Golden; her stepchildren, Jo Ellen Cook, Anthony Golden, Art Myers (Nancy) and Larry Esmonde; and her siblings, Hilario Ortega (Nancy), Mary Ochoa, Thedora Guerrero (Jorge), Shirley Ortega, Delores Canalas (Fabian) and David Ortega. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
