It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest E. Porzelius (Lima, Ohio), born in Secor, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Porzelius and Catherine Porzelius (Boeringa); his son Jim Porzelius (August); and his siblings, Fred, Mary and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Schwartz; his grandchildren, Melissa Sawatzky Hodgson, Tracy Sawatzky White, Nicole LoBianco Agner, Lauren LoBianco Brenneman, Tessa Porzelius, Kyler Porzelius, Leah DeVoe Westra, Sadie DeVoe and Davis DeVoe; and his daughters, Kathy and Joan. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
