She was predeceased by: her parent Rebie Sue Herron; her son Shermiar E. Upshaw; her sister Eldrena K. Jones; her former husband Alex Parker; and the father of her children Shermaine Upshaw.
She is survived by: her son Emari S. Upshaw of Lima, OH; and her siblings, Marlana Jones of Columbus, OH, Leonard Robinson of Los Angeles, CA, Michael Jones of Kenton, OH, Jacquise Ellison and Melandy Jackson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
